Where does my child's journey start?
The Nest is a small family-owned and managed private day nursery group exclusive to Brighton and Hove. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and welcoming environment for all children. We incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning. Children at The Nest are happy and settled and our environment is beautiful and carefully prepared. We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in two nursery settings in Brighton and one in Hove. Many children join us in Wrens Nest as babies and stay until they go to school.

Peripatetic Classes
Our Peripatetic classes take place during the typical nursery day and are included in your fees. We offer a wide range of peripatetic classes designed to inspire and engage your child's imagination. Our rotating schedule ensures that as many children as possible have the opportunity to experience these enriching classes.
New for 2024. We are excited to add a 7th class to our schedule!
Join Dexter Cat & Adrian Mouse in the Hartbeeps Happy House. Participants take a different sound journey every week, as we set the scene and your Little Hartbeepers build their story! It’s fun fun fun all the way, with our own original versions of classic nursery rhymes, the most fabulous songs, gorgeous puppet characters, dress-up, props and more

Baby Ballet
High-energy classes which open a world of literacy and teach early phonics
Children are introduced to the wonderful world of music. Through engaging activities and games, they will learn about rhythm, melody, and different musical instruments. This class not only stimulates their creativity but also enhances their cognitive skills
In this class, your child will discover the joy of movement and expression. The class incorporates an excitning range of props and instruments to enhance learning of their first ballet steps.
Tatty Bumpkin Yoga
Children embark on an adventure filled with yoga-inspired exercises, storytelling, and relaxation techniques. They will improve their coordination, flexibility, and develop a sense of calm and well-being
ProTot Sports
Pro Tots focuses on developing physical abilities and sports skills. Through fun games and activities, your child will enhance their motor skills, balance, and hand-eye coordination. This class promotes a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age.
Lingotot
French & Spanish
Classes are interactive and fun, yet based on sound educational research. Learning is through songs, stories, games, drama and play. Children have so much fun they don’t realise they are learning
Are you looking for the proposed FREE Government Hours?
We are optimistic about government changes and will strive to provide parents with options to maximise support. With our fantastic funded options, you will receive your free hours, and you can easily add additional sessions too. Spaces are limited, so we recommend securing your place now; you can register now, and add your funding details later. Based on provisional information, it seems that the 9-month-old funding will commence the term after a baby turns 9 months and that parents will need to apply for the funding through the childcare choices website for an eligibility code. Once the government have this in place and you receive your eligibility code, we will be able to add the funding for you. You will only need to pay the full rates until your baby is eligible.
3 days a week 8am to 6pm - £349 a month
